Mozelle Medley

Cookeville, TN- Funeral Services for Mozelle Medley, 93 of Cookeville will be Friday. June 27th at 11am at Cookeville First Presbyterian Church with burial in Cookeville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Medley died Monday, June 23, 2003 at NHC of Cookeville.

She was born October, 10, 1909 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to the late Sidney Johnston and Texanna Temple Spain. In addition to her partents she was preceeded in death by husband Ralph Pedigo Medley, sister Christine Spain Emerson, brother Alfred Otto Spain.

Survivors are Daughter and Son-in-law Alice & Dr. james L. Snelgrove of Napierville, Illinois, Son and Daughter-in-law, Dr. Adron & Sara Medley of Helena, Montana, Sister Lucille Spain Turner of Kosciusko, Mississippi, 7 grandchildren: Mark Adron Medley, Lee Emmett Medley, Bryce Matthew Medley, Sara Lee Medley, Shane Adron Medley, Anne Caroline Snelgrove, Sarah Margaret Snelgrove, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Emily, Lia & Emma Medley.

Family will receive friends Thursday, June 26 at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home from 5 to 8pm and at the church Friday 10 to 11am.

Rev. G. David Campbell & Rev. Ernest Robertson will officiate.

Active pallbearers will be Mike, Martin, Don, Shane & Michael Medley, Jim Snelgrove. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tennessee Tech University Emeriti Faculty, Putnam County Retired Teacher's Association, Staff of NHC Healthcare of Cookeville, Former Fourth Grade Students at Tech Campus School, Elders of First Presbyterian Church.
